UPDATES

Added an option for Y invert on the gamepad.
Added in the option to see how many more animals you need to photograph to get to the next level in the game menu.

BUG FIXES

Fixed Manual Save not working.
Fixed the issue with buttons not working after sleeping in a shelter.
Fixed game cursor not showing up when finding a golden morel to select a treasure chest.

We are extremely excited to announce that Morels: The Hunt 2 is officially live and released on steam!

Morels: The Hunt 1 Update

The update for Morels 1 is also live.
-Footprints where you have been on the map.
-Daily morel counts and daily record.
-Option to turn off spiders and make them bunny balls.
-Sunglasses as a new item. This will lighten dark shaded areas darken the brightness of the sun.
-Music by default will play a playlist starting with that maps song instead of looping the same song.
-Added upper right Main UI to the Horse and ATV UI.
-Fixed Redwood Forest morels location bug.

Morels: The Hunt 2 – Development Update!

We wanted to share some development updates for Morels 2.

These are the 7 new maps.

These are the new items available for purchase in the shop.

Hummingbird feeder

– Attracts hummingbirds. This item can be placed anywhere in any map. It will stay there forever unless you pick it up and bring it back to your inventory. There is no quantity limit on this item.

Deer Stand

– Animals will not fear or run away from you while on this stand. This item can be placed anywhere in any map. You can not bring it back into your inventory once you place it down. It will remain forever wherever you place it down at. There is no quantity limit on this item.

Compass

– Adds a compass to your UI.

Headlamp Light Upgrade

– Will make your headlamp much brighter and shine further.

Sunglasses

– Will lighten dark shaded areas and darken the brightness of the sun.

Scuba Tank

– Will allow you to stay underwater for an unlimited amount of time. It will be needed to hunt in the Ocean Islands map.

Animal Minimap Detection

– Shows you an animal location on your minimap.

Mushroom Minimap Detection

– Shows you a location mushrooms have been found on your minimap.

Photo Tasks

– 18 mushrooms besides morels to collect
– 60 Animals to photograph
– 15 Sea Animals to photograph
– 17 Insects to photograph
– 28 Objects to photograph
– 7 New mystery animals

Morels: The Hunt – Update and New Trailers

[We are excited to announce that we have just made an update to Morels: The Hunt and it is live now. The new Speed Hunt Mode was not quite ready for release yet so that is not in this update. However, since there were a couple of important bug fixes we wanted to go ahead and get this update out now. We know the Single Season Achievement bug has been an annoying one. We believe this should now be fixed. We hope to release the new Speed Hunt Mode in the next update.

Morels: The Hunt is now available on the Epic Games Store!

Morels: Homestead Tropical Update!

We’ve just released our big Tropical Update! The update is free and has a lot to explore and experience. Below are some of the biggest updates.

2 New Explorable Maps

Each map features new collectables and quests.

Flamingo Island

Willow Tree Golf Course

2 New Homesteads

Beach Island and Tropical Land

Seashell Hunting

You can sell them for cash.

New Animals

Sprinkler System

You can now purchase sprinkler systems for your garden boxes. You can purchase them by trigger clicking on the garden boxes to bring up their item menu. After purchasing you will see the sprinkler system working. You will no longer need to manually water the plants in the garden box. You can still purchase fertilizer and manually fertilize plants if you would like them to grow faster.

-New save slots. You can now have multiple saved games.

-All maps have had their graphics slightly updated.

-A “Sell All Seashells and Metals” button has been added to the Misc Vendor.

-Blewit Mushrooms have been added to the new maps.

-2 new garden seeds. Coconut tree and a pineapple tree.

-Many new homestead items to purchase in the Farmer’s Market.

-Farmer’s Market and the Main Menu have been updated to match the new artwork of the Tropical Update.
